Data Privacy for Schools

Effective Date: September 1, 2026

This page is for school district administrators evaluating ClassCam for procurement/vendor approval.

ClassCam does not collect, store, or process any student data. Teachers use the Service to display photos of physical classwork on a classroom screen; those photos are automatically deleted within 90 minutes, and students never create accounts or submit personal information.

Even so, we know many districts require a signed Data Privacy Agreement (DPA) as part of vendor approval — so we use the industry-standard agreements maintained by the Student Data Privacy Consortium (SDPC), a project of Access 4 Learning (A4L), rather than a one-off custom document.

California Districts

ClassCam has an executed California Student Data Privacy Agreement (CSDPA) on file, including a signed General Offer of Privacy Terms (Exhibit E). This means any California LEA can adopt the same, already-agreed privacy terms without needing to negotiate a new agreement from scratch — you simply countersign Exhibit E.

To receive a copy of our executed CSDPA and Exhibit E for your district's signature, contact us below.

Districts Outside California

For districts in other states, we'll execute the appropriate state-specific National Data Privacy Agreement (NDPA) maintained by A4L/SDPC. Contact us with your state and district name, and we'll prepare and sign the current version for your review.

Request a DPA

Email support@classcam.us with your district name and state, and we'll send the appropriate signed agreement.
